American Colors by Henry Lehr, a iconic clothing brand founded almost half a century ago, is reopening in Westport.
Alexander Lehr, the founder's son, is behind the revival, four years after his father's passing
The brand has been worn by rock royalty like Mick Jagger, who is a huge fan and has even allowed the company to use his fame to promote the product. "So Mick Jagger is one of the clients that we've made belts for, you know, and it's his signature item that he wears on tour. He's a huge fan. It's allowed us to use his fame to promote the product and we're extremely excited about him being a super fan of the brand," says Lehr.
The grand opening is set for tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. at 66 Post Road East. The store is located right down the street from the original store, with all products designed and manufactured in Connecticut and New Jersey.
Lehr plans to open nine more stores across North America over the next decade.
