Police: Westhill students arrested in connection with several fights

Police responded to the school just before 12:30 p.m. for reports of several minor physical altercations. Police add there is no threat to the school or surrounding community.

Multiple students at Westhill High School in Stamford were arrested Friday for being involved in fights, police say.
Police responded to the school just before 12:30 p.m. for reports of several minor physical altercations.
They say officers and school staff were able to control the situation.
Several juveniles were arrested in connection with the incident.
Police add there is no threat to the school or surrounding community.
Officials say the incident, which is under investigation, is not related to any other events including a separate incident that took place Friday at Stillmeadow Elementary School.
