First graders at Concord Magnet School (CMS) in Norwalk showed off their colorful larger-than-life sculptures today at Fodor Farm.
The project is part of a collaboration between Silvermine Arts Center and the school which is in its eleventh year.
Organizers say creating the sculptures connects classroom learning with the natural environment in a meaningful, real-world setting.
They say today's rainy weather didn't dampen the children's mood.
The sculptures are now on display for the public to view at Fodor Farm, 328 Flax Hill Road.
